REFILL - OLD BOOKS Candle 250 ml
A tribute to biblichor, that dry, textured smell of old books.
The fragrance opens with elemi resin, with a lemony and slightly peppery facet reminiscent of the glues and inks of old bookbindings.
Clove brings its medicinal note, which sandalwood makes softer and woodier, evoking books piled high on shelves, aged paper, delicately leafed through pages.
In the background, the candle diffuses notes of cedar, amber, papyrus and a touch of leather which prolongs this impression of a place frozen in time .
How do I refill my 250 ml candle?
1. Empty and wash the interior of the container to be refilled with hot water and the dishwashing liquid. Dry completely.
2. Get yourself a glue gun and your refill . Place a dot of hot glue on it at the level of the metal pellet of the wick .
3. Place quickly your refill inside the container by applying a light pressure to make the glue stick. Wait about 2 minutes.
4. Now you can light your candle! Enjoy its fragrance while following the usual usage instructions.
Directions for use:
This refill is designed to be used exclusively in our containers adapted in 250 ml.
Never light the refill alone , without a container or in a container other than that provided for this purpose: risk of fire, overflow or overheating.
To guarantee the quality of the perfume restitution, Do not use in a jar that has contained a candle fragrance other than that of the refill.
Use only in a clean, undamaged, uncracked, and unoxidized container.
Please note that our refills are sensitive to heat. Before use, Store them in a cool, dry place.

To fully enjoy your candle:
- Always keep your wick clean : For clean combustion without black smoke, keep the wick at a maximum of 8 mm . If necessary, trim it before each lighting.
- Ensure an even burn : Allow the wax to melt to the edge before extinguishing, to avoid tunneling and ensure even melting.
- Extinguish with ease : Don't blow out the flame. Simply close the lid to preserve the fragrance and extend the life of your candle.
- Ensure your peace of mind : Place your candle on a stable surface, away from drafts, flammable surfaces and always under supervision.
Proper maintenance means a candle that lasts longer and diffuses its fragrance better.
