Maple Workshop x WeForest
Mukungule project

1 candle purchased, 1 tree planted
At Atelier Maple, we imagine candles that tell stories and awaken emotions.
They are there to brighten your moments , to bring warmth and comfort to everyday life.
But for us, the light of a candle is not limited to its flame or its fragrance.
It can also be a way to take action , to bring something tangible to the world around us.
That is why we have chosen to link our world to nature and trees.
A perfume is already a memory, an atmosphere, a piece of life.
So we want each candle to also be a concrete gesture : a tree that takes root somewhere in the world and will remain long after the candle has burned out.
How do we fit into this approach?
We have chosen to donate a portion of the revenue generated by each candle to WeForest in order to plant a tree for each one.
Thanks to our partnership with WeForest , we support the Mukungule project in Zambia: a region where Miombo forests are coming back to life, where people raise bees and farm differently to protect their land .
Bees play a central role: They pollinate, produce honey and become the very driving force of reforestation.
But this project does not only protect trees : it also supports local families.
Reforestation goes hand in hand with new economic opportunities: beekeeping, sustainable agriculture, and training for jobs related to forest conservation. This allows local residents to live better lives today, while protecting the future of their children.

 And you ?
Each candle you choose becomes a tree, a gesture for the planet and for the families of Mukungule.
So yes, planting a tree may seem like a small thing. But it's actually huge.
A tree is not only cleaner air, more fertile soil, a preserved water source and a shelter for biodiversity, but it is also an additional chance for a family to live with dignity, thanks to the income generated by a living nature.
And placed end to end, these trees become a forest!
From September 2025, every candle purchased from Atelier Maple will plant a tree in Mukungule.
