When the publishing house Monsieur Toussaint Louverture asked us to design a candle inspired by Anne Shirley,  We immediately accepted.

Because this heroine, born from the pen of Lucy Maud Montgomery , has been with us for a long time. Because she embodies imagination, wonder and that unique way of finding beauty in every detail.

We wanted the candle to carry all of this: the freshness of a morning in the garden, the burst of life, the poetry of everyday life.

A handcrafted creation, born in Lyon

At Atelier Maple , all our candles are hand-poured in our Lyon workshop. For Anne Shirley , as always, we chose a 100% vegetable wax, created an exclusive fragrance and handcrafted each piece with special attention.

It is a candle designed as a literary object: a universe to be lit as one opens a book.

A poetic perfume, like Anne

We have composed a scent playing on contrasts: The luminous softness of flax flower , the woody warmth of blond wood and a subtle and wild note of mugwort which brings the depth of the landscapes of Prince Edward Island.

A simple and frank fragrance, but which, like Anne, hides a thousand nuances.
